Delete your COPDBuddy account and data

You can request deletion of your COPDBuddy account in one of the following ways:

1. In the app:

   • Log in to your COPDBuddy account.
   • Go to Settings or Privacy settings.
   • Select Delete account or Request account deletion.
   • Confirm your request.

2. By email:

   • Send an email to privacy@esperity.com from the email address linked to your COPDBuddy account.
   • Use the subject line: COPDBuddy account deletion request.
   • Include the email address associated with your account.

When your request is processed, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your COPDBuddy account, including account information, profile information, health-related entries, questionnaires, documents uploaded through the app, care team information, calendar entries, goals, and app-related user content, where applicable.

We may retain limited information where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes. Any retained data will be kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes.

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request.
